Help Make Party for The Place a Success
Party for The Place is our largest fundraiser of the year and we couldn’t make it happen without volunteers like you! Volunteers should plan on volunteering from 6 p.m. to about 9:30 pm.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, April 5
Attire: Feel free to dress on theme (click here for outfit inspiration) or in all black. Comfortable shoes are a must either way!
Volunteer Training: 6 p.m. (a meal will be provided)
Event start: 5:30 p.m.
Event End: 11 p.m. After volunteering, you are welcome to stay for the evening’s entertainment, which includes an open bar. When our event concludes at 11 p.m., the Marriott’s Voo Lounge will be open to the public where you may purchase drinks and snacks.
Location: Kansas City Marriott Downtown Muehlebach Tower, 1213 Wyandotte Street, Kansas City, MO 64105
Please note that Party for The Place is a 21+ event so all volunteers must be 21 or older.
Preliminary Schedule:
- 6 p.m. – Arrival, dinner and volunteer training
- 7 p.m. – Pack up supplies from cocktail hour
- 7:15 p.m. – Program and auction spotting
- 9 p.m. – Pack-up ballroom
- Once the decor from the ballroom has been packed up, you are welcome to enjoy the evening’s entertainment until the event concludes at 11 p.m.
