Host a Food Drive

Food drive

Help Stock our Shelves

Are you looking for a creative way for your company or community group to give back to the community? Host a food drive for The Children’s Place!

Each week we send home backpacks full of food to ensure that the children we serve have plenty to eat all weekend long. We fill nearly 50 backpacks each week, and this food is supplied nearly entirely by our generous community, so we go through a lot of food!

Items to Collect:

  • Individually Packaged Snacks (Goldfish, Cheez-Its, Cookies, etc.)
  • Fruit Cups/Individual Applesauce
  • Instant Mashed Potato Packets
  • Rice Packets/Rice-A-Roni
  • Cans of Soup
  • Canned Chicken or Tuna
  • Instant Oatmeal
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Pasta, Mac & Cheese, Ramen
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Chef Boyardee
  • Nut-Free Granola Bars
  • Individual Raisins/Craisins
