The Board of Directors provides governance, oversight and leadership to ensure The Children’s Place fulfills its mission. Board members represent a diverse range of perspectives, vocations and areas of expertise to help guide long-term planning and sustainability.
Ideal for: Established professionals and community volunteers with leadership experience and a passion for children’s mental health. We are focusing recruitment for 2026 on individuals with expertise in operations, fundraising or marketing or those with lived experiences related to our mission.

The Angel Board is a passionate group of individuals who support The Children’s Place through fundraising, event planning and community outreach. The Angel Board provides key support for our annual Party for The Place event along with supporting our staff and raising awareness about The Children’s Place’s mission.
Ideal for: Community-minded individuals who enjoy event planning, networking and philanthropy.

The Young Ambassador Board connects young professionals through service, fundraising and social events. This board provides key support for our annual Taste at The Place event along with smaller third-party events, give-back nights, service projects and more.
Ideal for: Young professionals looking to expand their networks, build leadership skills and give back to the community.

The Teen Board is a group of passionate high school students looking to give back to the community while developing leadership skills and learning about the inner functions of a nonprofit organization. The Teen Board helps throughout the year with special service projects, an annual diaper drive and more.
Ideal for: High school students passionate about mental health, community service and early childhood.
