Midwest ATC
For decades now, Midwest ATC has created childhood memories for the children at The Children’s Place with their involvement in two key events throughout the year: Hosting a spring egg hunt and donating food for Thanksgiving feasts.
Enthusiastic members of the Midwest ATC team descend upon our playground each spring with hundreds of plastic eggs filled with goodies for the children in our Day Treatment program. Even the Easter Bunny joins in on the fun, greeting each child with a big smile and ready for photos and hugs.
In the fall, Midwest ATC steps up by donating food for the families we serve to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, complete with all the fixings.
By giving the children we serve the chance to create warm childhood memories, Midwest ATC is helping to restore childhood for little ones in our community who have experienced traumatic events.
“The children light up when they see they see the friendly Easter Bunny and their playground scattered with eggs each year thanks to our friends at Midwest ATC,” said Polly Howard, Vice President of Development & Communications. “Beyond this annual support they provide in the spring and at Thanksgiving, Midwest ATC has also been a loyal corporate supporter of The Children’s Place for years, providing crucial funds to support the work we do. We’re so grateful for Midwest ATC!”
Midwest ATC will be recognized at the Gratitude Bruncheon on Thursday, June 6. Learn more about our other honorees who will be celebrated at the Gratitude Bruncheon here.
