“The Children’s Place has been a place of hope for my family. Two of my five children have attended The Children’s Place’s Day Treatment program, and it’s been a second home for the past six years.
My son, Thomas, came to The Children’s Place when he was demonstrating some dangerous behaviors like hitting and running out of his classroom. When he got to The Children’s Place, those behaviors pretty much stopped. He knew this was a safe place, and he could just be himself. He’s now thriving in kindergarten, while still coming back to The Children’s Place weekly for therapy.
We lost my husband only three months after Thomas started at The Children’s Place, and the support we received from everyone was incredible, supporting not just the child attending, but the entire family.
