2025-2026 Angel Board Application
The Children’s Place’s Angel Board is an auxiliary board of passionate volunteers committed to supporting the agency’s mission through fundraising, advocacy and volunteer projects.
The board formed in 1995 and plays a crucial role in The Children’s Place’s work throughout the year as well as helping to coordinate the annual Party for The Place event.

Childhood restored. We tirelessly pursue, find and celebrate healing for young children in our community who have faced trauma, enabling children to lead happy, healthy, hopeful lives.

Meeting Details
- Held on the third Wednesday of each month from 9 – 10 a.m.
- Location: The Children’s Place (6401 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO 64131)
- Meetings are fully in-person to foster meaningful connection, collaboration, and engagement.
- Members are expected to attend at least two-thirds of meetings.
Membership Information
- Term runs from August through May
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until capacity is reached
- Annual dues: $150
- Members are expected to support the mission of The Children’s Place through volunteering, fundraising, and increasing awareness
